Our Bronze Package is our starter level. It comprises investigation into one branch or family name back at least two generations from where the research starts.

Typically, it should be possible to trace a direct line back to around 1800 (but this cannot be guaranteed). Our report will include dates of birth, marriage and death for your ancestors, plus addresses and occupations.

This option uses online sources only.

• Our Research Report, including brief family tree

• Copies of all relevant census returns (1841-1911)

Our Silver Package comprises investigation into two branches/family names back at least two generations from where the research starts, to the level of the Bronze Package.

This option allows a broader view of your (or someone else’s) ancestry, for example covering both paternal and maternal lines.

• Our Research Report
• Copies of at least five birth, marriage or death certificates
• Copies of all relevant census returns (1841-1911)
• Outline family tree chart showing all ancestors discovered

Our Gold Package provides investigation into one branch of your family tree in greater detail. Typically, this would involve:

-        Research prior to 1800, if possible;

-        Further investigations into siblings and their descendants;

-        Searches of other records such as wills, parish documents, directories, newspapers, and military and occupational records;

-        Details of the locality in which your ancestors lived, the social and economic conditions they would have experienced, and the jobs they did.

As well as online sources, this option may involve visits to one or more record offices (West Midlands only, elsewhere by agreement).

Our top-end Platinum Package offers all the features of the Gold Package with the findings written up as a narrative family history.

This is presented as one of our deluxe, full-colour Family Storybooks. The book will comprise 40+ pages, telling the story of your family in well-written text accompanied by colour images, and will have customised front and back covers. See our Family Storybook section for further details.
